The Carpeters!

The Carpeters!

Hard up, tired out, worn down

The Carpeters!

In Search of a celebrity, a party, an opening night

The Carpeters!

Confused, disorientated, they find a way

The Carpeters!

Marking out a bold red line of chaos and confusion

The Carpeters!

Is disruptive urban street theatre

Is disruptive urban street theatre

Is disruptive urban street theatre

A bemusing ensemble roll and unroll red carpets, end to end, forever moving forward, endlessly looking for their non-existent charges.

The performers battle for status

Is disruptive urban street theatre

Is disruptive urban street theatre

In a constantly moving game of One Upmanship they must overcome the everyday objects in their path that hinder their eternally futile task.

The Carpet cannot be stopped

Is disruptive urban street theatre

The Carpet cannot be stopped

Their progress creates collisions, comedy and chaos.  Assistance is encouraged, confusion is guaranteed and celebrities instantly created. A bold red line is formed as we momentarily reimagine the everyday.

A career in pyrotechnics, firework show design and performance with Walk the Plank soon beckoned and at  the same time he became a  regular feature of shows with the Whalley Range AllStars.

Recent work has seen him as a performer and pyrotechnnician with Avanti Display, And Now and many others.

16rpm is his new company that embraces his love of disruptive street performance.
